For those of you that know about Nando’s and it’s cult following, well Spice BCN are the closest you’ll come to the succulent chicken and accompanying sides they offer. Only 3 years old with 2 restaurants across the city (the other is in Carrer d’Amigo 39 – Sant Gervasi) Spice BCN fuses South African style chicken with Caribbean spices and 4 levels of spices from mild to very hot. They serve several sides including well seasoned potatoes and yellow rice and also have a high quality selection of sweet milkshakes if you get that sugar need after eating.
They have outdoor seating and it’s becoming an increasingly popular spot to get well cooked chicken that hits the spot. It’s Halal certified with friendly staff and a full menu that you can fit under €20.

They’re all chargrilled and marinated with mainly South African spices and a choice between creamy mild sauce or thin red hot sauce. They also collaborate with many event in the city including the past Middle passage festival and are steadily making a name for themselves in the city.
